Provincetown, Massachusetts is a tiny little town on the very tip of Cape Cod. I’d been daydreaming about Cape Cod for weeks – that laid back, easy, breezy coastal lifestyle had been calling to me during these last few weeks while I’ve been stressed out and on edge about “work stuff.”
I visited my friend Joe in Boston last weekend, and since we both have been struggling a bit on the whole being-an-adult front, we knew a little escape to a place where everything’s a little simpler was just what we needed to relax for awhile. Cape Cod was beautiful and I’d love to someday own a house there. Just picture this: dark, weathered cedar shingles, private beach access, hydrangeas and hammocks in the backyard, and open, airy windows to let the warm, summer sea breeze flow through in the evenings. WHO WOULDN’T want that?! I love the buzz and excitement of cities, but a quaint New England home to have to run off to when life gets overwhelming?…. I wouldn’t hate that.
I’m going to let the photos do most of the talking here, they can show off Cape Cod better than I ever could with words:
Have you been to Cape Cod?
