November, according to Instagram

If October was a month of questions, November was a month of answers. In October, I didn’t know where I was going with my life, I was easily irritated, I was overwhelmed. In November, I figured out my next step — the next adventure! Planes, hotels, buses were booked. Calendars were scheduled. Decisions were made.

In November I got to reconnect with almost all of the people I love the most: family from Texas visited, we had a few family get-togethers, and all of my nearest and dearest friends from high school came home for the Thanksgiving holidays. In the last week my social life ballooned from little mosquito bites to juicy, juicy mangoes. (I have no idea why I just referenced that movie.)

This month, I spent time with my precioussssss friends, met some notably interesting new people, traveled to a new state, consequently fell in love with that new state, and secured a move. Exciting new things are coming in the next month or two and I can’t wait to share it all.

In the meantime, though… a reflection of November according to my Instagram. In a word, November was good. It was daaaaaaaamn good. 1Went to my first Flyers game and had some not-so-good seats (we were literally the highest row with our backs against the wall). But the Flyers won and it was still good.

2Soaked in some good sights as Kelly and I strolled around Old City.3Rittenhouse Square looked pretty good.4Learned some good history at Elfreth’s Alley in Philadelphia.5Read a good book or two.6Went to Colorado to visit my cousin Jackie and drank some good beer.7Gazed at some good mountains.8Met some good guys and got a little rowdy in downtown Boulder, Colorado.9Explored downtown Denver and enjoyed some good early Christmas lights.
10Drank some good hot chocolate in Union Station in Denver as we escaped the 9 degree temperatures.FullSizeRender (1)Took this photo of downtown Denver just before having really good pizza.FullSizeRenderLeft Denver, but in good spirits.FullSizeRender (2)My sister came home from college & went to a good bar with my pals and me.FullSizeRender (3)The sun started going down earlier, which is really no good at all.
11Reunited with my best friends of year and years and years. It was more than good.

How was your November? Do anything good?
