Songs on my soul: December

One of the reasons I started this blog is simply to have a place to get things out – to talk about the thoughts and stories and sporadic happenings of life. They say ‘smell’ is the sense most closely associated with memory, but I have found that songs can capture the mood of a certain time in my life just as well. Once a month, I’ll be sharing the songs that have been running through my head on repeat. Maybe someday I’ll be able to go back, listen to each unique little playlist and remember exactly how I was feeling during that specific month.

Society — Eddie Vedder
I Lived — One Republic
Meanwhile Back at Mama’s — Tim McGraw
Basket Case — Green Day
Superheroes — The Script
Ghost — Ella Henderson
Sirens — Pearl Jam
Spring Wind — Jack Johnson
Glycerine — Bush
Inside Out — Eve 6IMG_0590
